Getting paid on a collab

On a Paid or Gifted + Paid collab, the business pays the creator directly — by e-transfer, PayPal, invoice or however you agree. Muchsy never holds, moves or refunds money. What it gives you both is a shared record of where the payment stands.

Where it appears

Once the work is approved and the collab is completed, a Payment box appears on the collab page for both sides, with the amount agreed when the creator was accepted.

The business: I've paid this

When you have sent the money, press I've paid this. It records the date and asks the creator to check — nothing more. A business saying it paid does not close the payment on its own.

The creator: Payment received

When the money is in your account, press Payment received. That is the only thing that closes the payment. You can press it even if the business never marked anything, if the money simply arrived.

If it doesn't arrive

Press I haven't received it. The flag goes to the business and to Muchsy's team, and it is never shown publicly. Talk it through in Messages; the flag closes when the creator confirms receipt.
