Delete your account, or change your mind

Deleting is permanent, so it happens in two stages: a request that can be undone, then, 30 days later, the erasure.

Only need a break? Hiding your profile takes you out of sight and deletes nothing.

Requesting deletion

Go to Settings, then Account, and find Delete my account at the bottom. Type DELETE to confirm and press Delete account. From that moment your profile is hidden — for a business, your page and your offers too — and your dashboard shows the date your account will be erased.

Changing your mind

For 30 days, signing in again cancels the deletion, whether you use your password or Google. Nothing is lost. If you are still signed in, the reminder on your dashboard has a cancel deletion link.

What happens after 30 days

• Your personal information is erased: your name, email, profile, photos, contact details and the text of your messages.
• Discount codes you claimed but never used, and rewards you had not yet collected, are cancelled.
• Completed collabs and reviews stay, shown as "Deleted user" with your name removed. They are the other person's record too, and closing one account must not erase it.

Once the 30 days are over, deletion can't be undone. If something went wrong that made you want to leave, write to us first — a person reads every message.
