When a creator doesn't show up, or a parcel never arrives
3 min read
Every collab runs on a clock, and the rules about it are the same for everyone. They exist so that neither side is blamed for something the other did.
A visit that never happens
The creator's voucher carries a Redeem by date. If that date passes without the voucher being scanned at your counter, the collab page offers Mark as no-show. It only appears after that date, never before. It counts against the creator's completion score, so they are emailed when it happens.
A parcel that never ships
On a shipped collab, the deadline does not start when the business accepts. It starts when the creator presses Yes, I've received it — so a parcel that never leaves counts against nobody. Businesses: press I've shipped it when it goes out, with a tracking number if you have one, and the creator is emailed.
Work that is running late
Once the clock has started, the business can press Give more time on the collab page and move the deadline by 3, 7 or 14 days; the creator is emailed the new date. If the deadline passes and nothing is ever submitted, the collab expires, which counts against the creator's completion score.
Calling it off
Either side can press Cancel collab before the voucher is scanned, or, with no visit, before the work is submitted. The other side is emailed, and cancelling counts against nobody. Once a creator's voucher or deadline has passed, only the business can decide what happens.
What Muchsy can't do: make anyone turn up, ship or post. It never holds money, so it has nothing to refund. What it does is keep an honest record of what happened, and email every change to both sides.
