Before you post your first offer: a checklist for businesses
4 min read
Setting up goes fastest when you have a few things ready and a few decisions made. Here is the list, in the order the app asks for them.
To publish your page
- Your business name and category.
- Your city and country.
- A logo or a photo of your place. Square works best.
To post an offer
- What you give: a product, a meal, a service, a cash fee, or a mix. For a gift, what a customer would pay for it, not what it costs you.
- What you want back: a post on their channels, content files for your own use (UGC), or both.
- How the creator gets it: they come to you (have your street address ready), you deliver it (by mail or by hand), or there is nothing to send.
- Exactly what you expect, like "1 Instagram Reel + 2 Stories tagging @yourbusiness".
- How many creators, and how many days they have to deliver.
Makes it better (optional)
- A one-line headline and a few lines about you.
- 3 to 6 photos or short videos of what you make or your place.
- Your website and social accounts.
- Your opening hours.
Decide before the first application
The form can't decide these for you:
- Who answers creators. Aim to reply within 2–3 days: a quick yes or no is what creators remember.
- If creators come in: who scans their code at the counter.
- If you deliver: who sends or brings the product, and when.
- For UGC: where you'll use the files (your own posts, or paid ads too) and for how long.
Good to know
- Every collab post has to say it is one, in the caption: #ad for a paid collab, #GiftedProduct when the creator received something free, and in French when the post is in French. Canada's advertising guidelines ask the business to make sure it happens too.
- Any fee is paid by you directly to the creator. Muchsy doesn't hold the money and takes no commission.
